![]() This is simply another option if you have no others. This may be hard with conventional shoulder fired rockets. Its a slim shot, think of it as the neck of the Turret. If you can manage a shot above the hull right below the ERA on the Turret you may penetrate. If you can ambush it from above, a rocket to the top of the Turret or top of the engine block should disable or damage it. Tops of tanks have significantly less protection and no ERA usually. Main gun if you have a large enough caliber rocket to damage barrel and gun Maybe I need to pursue this and try to sell it to the military.Īmbush should always be your number 1 course of action if possible or feasible to these MBTs. This could be effective against every type of vehicle. ![]() Expanding foam is some nightmarish stuff. One nightmare material I can think of is that spray foam in a can (expands, used to fill gaps during home repair).you aren't getting that off without sandpaper and elbow grease and now you can't see out of it. It could even be attached to a missile/warhead that explodes this material on impact. Or some kind of paint or really sticky residue will destroy all the surfaces that they use to look out of and they can't get it off with just their hands, oftentimes you need a razor blade to cut off the material. If they can't see they're dead in the water and have to have their head outside the vehicle (vulnerable).Ĭoat it in wd-40 and they'll never see out of their cameras/windows again and now it's highly flammable (wd-40 is really hard to get off of glass for example, wiping ain't gonna cut it). I am really shocked that we don't have any weapons specifically designed to cover a tank in liquid, bubbles/foam, or something sticky would work EXTREMELY well at disabling it.
